20 Most Valuable Pokémon 30th Celebration Cards – Current Prices
Mew ex leads our ranking of the 20 most valuable cards in the English 30th Celebration set. Compare the exact cards, latest ungraded guides and averages from seven available daily observations, using GG.cards market data.
30th Celebration has a large English checklist, but this snapshot's highest guide values cluster around a smaller group of special illustration cards and the two Futuristic Rares. For collectors sorting a fresh opening, checking a binder or comparing a possible trade, identifying the exact card matters as much as recognising the Pokémon on it.
GG.cards tracks market guide values alongside its card catalogue. The ranking below uses recent stored GG.cards pricing data, rather than release-day estimates, and orders cards by their average across seven available daily observations. The latest guide is shown alongside that average so you can see where the two differ.
Prices last updated: 21 October 2026. All prices are in GBP (£).
These are ungraded guide values based on GG.cards market data. Actual sale prices vary with condition, marketplace and collector demand.

How this ranking was calculated
The scope is GG.cards' 158-card canonical English 30th Celebration catalogue, set identity 30th. Its printed main-set numbering ends at 128; cards such as Mew ex 152/128 are included because they belong to that same English catalogue. This ranking does not add Japanese-only cards, external product promos or separately catalogued Classic Collection cards. Their absence here should not be read as a judgement about their value.
We used GG.cards' existing approved PriceCharting mappings and stored ungraded guides for each card's base printing. No graded prices are included. All 158 cards had seven usable daily observations, so none was excluded for insufficient history.
Here, “7-day average” means the arithmetic mean of the latest seven available completed daily observations, rather than seven consecutive calendar days. For this snapshot those dates are 13, 14, 15, 18, 19, 20 and 21 October 2026. There are no observations for 16 or 17 October in that sequence; missing days have not been filled in. Every ranked card uses the same seven dates.
The mean was calculated from the stored USD minor-unit amounts before display rounding. We then used GG.cards' usual GBP conversion and two-decimal currency formatting at publication. Both the latest guides and the averages use that same conversion. The order follows the unrounded average; it is not sorted by the latest-price column. These values are saved as an editorial snapshot and do not update automatically when you open this page.
A closer look at the top ten
The leading cards are not interchangeable versions of one headline pull. Mew and Mewtwo each appear in two different rarities, and the two special illustration Pikachu ex cards have different collector numbers and artwork. The pictures below help match each price to the card it actually describes.
1. Mew ex — 152/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £70.28. 7-day average: £72.75, from 7 daily observations.
Mew floats in the middle of a dense, golden woodland scene, with small Pokémon tucked among the leaves and flowers. It is an image that rewards a second look, and a very different treatment from the set's Futuristic Rare Mew. In this snapshot, the special illustration version has the higher average. Check the collector number carefully: both cards are called Mew ex, but they occupy separate places in the checklist and the ranking.
2. Gengar ex — 154/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £59.81. 7-day average: £58.45, from 7 daily observations.
Gengar's broad grin dominates a brightly coloured nighttime scene, framed by crooked trees and a glowing moon. It makes a striking counterpart to the quieter Mew artwork above it. Its latest guide sits slightly above its recent average, while Mew's latest guide is below its own average. That difference is a useful reminder that a ranking based on several observations can tell a different story from one day's price.
3. Pikachu ex — 150/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £57.87. 7-day average: £50.31, from 7 daily observations.
This Pikachu ex places the anniversary mascot at the centre of a crowded celebration, with fireworks overhead and other Pokémon filling the scene. It is the highest-ranked Pikachu card here. Its latest guide is appreciably above its average, so collectors comparing today's reference value with the table should read both columns. The number 150/128 distinguishes it from the other special illustration Pikachu ex at number five.
4. Mew ex — 158/128

Rarity: Futuristic Rare. Latest guide price: £54.76. 7-day average: £46.56, from 7 daily observations.
The Futuristic Rare Mew uses a luminous, rainbow-coloured treatment with Energy symbols around the Pokémon. It shares a name with the first-place card, but not its artwork or rarity. This is also a good example of why the latest guide alone does not determine the order: its latest price is above Pikachu ex 149/128, while its seven-observation average still places it fourth.
5. Pikachu ex — 149/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £44.05. 7-day average: £44.72, from 7 daily observations.
Pikachu appears among a lively crowd of Pokémon in this second special illustration version. For a Pikachu-focused binder, it is a separate checklist target from 150/128, rather than a duplicate of the same card. Its latest guide is close to its recent average. Collectors choosing between the two can compare their artwork as well as the different guide values, without treating the more expensive card as the only worthwhile one.
6. Mewtwo ex — 151/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £39.62. 7-day average: £40.77, from 7 daily observations.
Mewtwo stands against a dark geometric backdrop picked out in pink and purple. The structured composition gives it a very different feel from the set's Futuristic Rare version at number eight. Here the special illustration Mewtwo has the higher average, although their latest guides are much closer together. Keep the collector number attached to any price comparison or trade discussion involving the pair.
7. Jirachi ex — 155/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £37.37. 7-day average: £36.11, from 7 daily observations.
Jirachi floats through a sweeping, multicoloured cosmic scene, its yellow streamers following the curve of the artwork. At seventh place, it sits just ahead of Futuristic Rare Mewtwo ex on the average used for this ranking. The displayed averages are separated by only six pence, so the adjacent positions should not be read as a large difference in guide value.
8. Mewtwo ex — 157/128

Rarity: Futuristic Rare. Latest guide price: £38.86. 7-day average: £36.05, from 7 daily observations.
This Mewtwo reaches forward through a vivid purple-and-orange composition surrounded by Energy symbols. It is the second Futuristic Rare in the top ten, alongside Mew ex 158/128. Its latest guide is above its average, but that single reading does not move it ahead of Jirachi under this article's method. The two Mewtwo entries make a useful side-by-side comparison for collectors building around one Pokémon.
9. Sylveon ex — 153/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £38.64. 7-day average: £33.48, from 7 daily observations.
Sylveon sits among bright flowers, with its ribbons weaving through a pink-and-green scene. Its latest guide is above its average, but the ranking still puts it ninth on the broader set of observations. For an Eeveelution collection, the combination of character and artwork may be the main attraction; the price snapshot simply provides a dated reference for the exact 153/128 card.
10. Greninja ex — 148/128

Rarity: Special illustration rare. Latest guide price: £19.15. 7-day average: £16.32, from 7 daily observations.
Greninja cuts across a sharp, energetic arrangement of blue, pink and yellow shapes. It completes the top ten at a noticeably lower average than Sylveon above it. That gap gives the table some perspective: this snapshot's leading cards do not all sit in one narrow price band. As with the other entries, this is an ungraded guide for the pictured catalogue card, not a graded-card valuation.
Cards 11–20: the next part of the checklist
There is a clear step down from the first nine cards to Greninja and the cards below it. That makes the rest of the ranking useful even if the most expensive pulls are not your collecting priority. Several Illustration rares also give character collectors alternatives to the leading Pokémon ex cards.

12. Fuecoco ex — 147/128

14. Meowth — 144/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £9.97 · 7-day average: £8.99 (7 observations).

15. Alolan Meowth — 139/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £6.68 · 7-day average: £6.67 (7 observations).
Alolan Meowth and Galarian Meowth have very similar averages here, making artwork and collection goals useful parts of the comparison. View card on GG.cards.
16. Galarian Meowth — 141/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £6.47 · 7-day average: £6.65 (7 observations).
Galarian Meowth follows its Alolan counterpart by just two pence in the displayed average. That small gap is useful context for its position. View card on GG.cards.
17. Lapras — 131/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £6.37 · 7-day average: £6.32 (7 observations).
Lapras places above all three of the legendary birds in this snapshot, despite Zapdos and Moltres having higher latest guide readings. View card on GG.cards.
18. Zapdos — 133/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £8.11 · 7-day average: £6.22 (7 observations).
Zapdos has the highest average of the three legendary birds in this top twenty. Its latest guide is above that average. View card on GG.cards.
19. Moltres — 130/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £7.60 · 7-day average: £6.15 (7 observations).
Moltres follows Zapdos and precedes Articuno, giving collectors of the trio a clear comparison of the exact illustration cards. View card on GG.cards.
20. Articuno — 132/128
Illustration rare. Latest guide: £6.35 · 7-day average: £5.83 (7 observations).
Articuno completes the twenty-card ranking. Its latest guide is higher than its recent average, as it is for the other two legendary birds. View card on GG.cards.
What is the most valuable card in 30th Celebration?
Mew ex 152/128 is number one in this snapshot, with a £72.75 7-day average and a £70.28 latest ungraded guide. It leads on the seven available completed observations, not just the most recent reading.
The distinction matters when checking a card named Mew ex: the Futuristic Rare at 158/128 is a separate entry, fourth here with a £46.56 average. Use the collector number and artwork when comparing a listing with either guide. This ranking describes the recorded values at the snapshot date and makes no prediction about future prices.
Which 30th Celebration Pikachu cards are most valuable?
Pikachu ex 150/128 is the highest-ranked Pikachu, third overall with a £50.31 average and a £57.87 latest guide. The other special illustration version, Pikachu ex 149/128, is fifth at a £44.72 average and £44.05 latest guide.
Those Pokémon ex cards are distinct from the run of 30 Pikachu Rare cards numbered 023/128 through 052/128. Within that run, Pikachu 040/128 has the highest average in this snapshot: £2.60, with a £2.40 latest guide. It sits outside the overall top twenty.

Why do 30th Celebration card prices change?
The set is still relatively new: GG.cards records its English release date as 16 September 2026. Supply can change as more products are opened and individual cards reach the market. Collector demand also varies between characters, illustrations and rarities, so two cards from the same set need not move together.
Condition changes the comparison further. An ungraded guide is not a condition assessment: scratches, edge wear, surface marks or other damage can affect the price a buyer will pay. Marketplace fees and the choice between a quick sale and waiting for a particular buyer can also affect the amount a seller receives.
Use the latest guide as one dated reference and the recent average as another. A guide is a useful estimate, not a guaranteed selling price; the difference between the two columns does not establish what any individual copy will sell for.
